Regional visits began

The trainings of the members of the councils of the Armenian communities continue within the framework of the project “Good governance for local development in the South Caucasus” implemented by the German International Cooperation Company (GIZ/GIZ). On April 1, the regional stage of the training courses under the title “Development of the abilities of the members of the community councils” started in the Tavush region of the Republic of Armenia involving 50 participants. On April 2-4, 110 members of the community councils of the region participated in the training held in Lori region.

Lectures were followed by testing, which is also a learning component. At the end, the participants evaluated the course which will be summarized after the program is completed.

The project is implemented with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
