The doctorates get long-term education. It is not longer than tree years. Admission to doctorate education is not competitive. The citizens of RA who hold the academic degree of PhD, are occupied in active scientific activities and have recorded certain scientific results, can be registered as doctorates. During the study at the Academy the doctorate will carry out activities which are prescribed by individual program, finish his/her PhD thesis, and hold the pre-discussion (defense) of the thesis at the Academy. The doctorates are paid state scholarship, and they get a two-month vacation. They receive their scholarship during the vocation.
The doctorates, research students and post-graduate students have an open access to the technical means, computers and library for free at the Academy.
