City tourism is rising worldwide, and the Republic of Armenia is not an exception. The boosts of development of city tourism are architecture, design, monuments, museums, hotel industry, developed sub-structures, places of entertainment, etc. In our days city tourism is a synthesis of culture, history and entertainment.
On December 7, on the initiative of professor of ‘Management of tourism recourses of the Republic of Armenia’, assistant professor Marine Gevorgyan, both full-time and part-time students of Master’s program ‘Tourism management’ at Public Administration Academy of RA held a practical lesson. In order to discover tourism recourses and evaluate them form anew, the students visited the Matenadaran (Scientific Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts) after Mesrop Mashtots, the History Museum of Armenia and the National Gallery of Armenia. They made sure that in the case of successful management of the sphere, Yerevan will fascinate with its historical and cultural attractiveness and will bring considerable amount of foreigners to Armenia which will contribute to the development of tourism in our country.
