Trainings for community servants of the regions of the Republic of Armenia

The Academy, in cooperation with the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, aimed to train about 700 community servants in 35 groups from May 13 to 23. The first group was from the Armavir region.

The second group is from the Armavir and Kotayk regions.

On May 27 Anna Ivanyan – head of the territorial administration department of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, welcomed the participants of the course held in the Abovyan community hall of Kotayk Marz. She answered many questions of community servants.

Gayane Hovhannisyan, head of the additional education department of PAARA, also welcomed the participants, stressing the importance of lifelong learning, acquiring new knowledge and skills, which is offered to community servants.

The training of community servants is carried out by the training program approved by the order of the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia No. 136 of March 2019 N 10-L.

The sections included in the program are: “Legislation of the Republic of Armenia Defining the Jurisdiction of Local Self-Government Bodies” (44 hours), “Legislation of the Republic of Armenia on Community Service” (8 hours), “Law of the Republic of Armenia on Normative Legal Acts” (6 hours) and Management Skills ( 14 hours), in particular: the concept of “Corruption” and the level of perception of corruption in the local self-government system”, “The concept of Ethics”, “The exploitation of the community management information system and the use of information technologies”, “The fight against human trafficking and exploitation”, “Bureaucracy” and the organization of document flow” and so on.

After completing the training, participants will receive certificates.

The training of local self-government bodies (community leaders, deputy community leaders and members of the council of elders) started in the Syunik region of the Republic of Armenia. Deputy heads of the Kapan community and members of the council of elders participated in the course organized on May 6-8.

Training courses for local self-government bodies (heads of communities, deputy heads of communities and members of the council of elders) and community servants conducted by the Academy of Public Administration of RA will continue until the end of the year.
