On February 5 Rector of the Public Administration Academy of RA (PAARA) Arsen Lokyan and Team leader of “Integrated biodiversity management, South Caucasus” programme of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Carsten Schulz signed a document about the project that had already been approved in the framework of cooperation.
The format of the training initiated by the project of PAARA and IBiS will let the representatives of public service and local government bodies of RA improve their knowledge and skills in the sphere of administration of biodiversity and ecosystem services. As a result of successful implementation of the project, one more course will complement the PAARA training programs- ‘Integration of ecosystem services in development planning’.
The training courses may contain an element of distant learning in the future.
This cooperation, which will be permanent, will promote the process of preparing compatible staff for the system of public administration through trainings.
