The cooperation between the Public Administration Academy of RA and the University of Transylvania, Brasov, Romania, extends its borders.
The Public Administration Academy of RA hosted Professor Mariela Pavaliche-Iliie – Dean of the Faculty of psychology and educational sciences of the partner University, and Professor Marcela Rodica Luca on May 7.
In the greeting speech the PAARA Rector Arsen Lokyan spoke about the impressions they have got during the visit to the University of Transylvania. He stated that there are many common features of cooperation between the two universities, but now they are mostly focused on cooperation in psychology and administration. A memorandum of cooperation will be signed between these two institutions.
PAARA Vice-rector Tereza Khechoyan, head of the Chair of Psychology of governance at PAARA Ruben Aghuzumtsyan, associate professor Laura Petrosyan and assistant Sona Poghosyan were present at the meeting. Aghuzumtsyan presented the activities of the Chair, psychological tendencies, spoke about the program of the Chair – creative administration, and stated the effectiveness of the program as a course within the educational program. The Head of the Chair touched upon the peculiarities of the psychological portrait of an individual as a research subject, and thoroughly introduced the passport of psychological portrait.
The partied talked about the exchange of students and teachers, presented their teaching experience, and discussed the entrance order. The Faculty of psychology and educational sciences of the University of Transylvania carries out psychological programs in both Bachelor’s and Master’s programs. They decided to extend the cooperation, firstly, in administration, and in labor psychology later.
As both institutions study the link between employers, graduates and teachers, they decided to carry out research in career promotion, and to involve the Master’s students in the researches.
The guests informed that their university gives great importance to the improvement of entrepreneurial skills of the students. It is important for the graduates to be skillful in business end entrepreneurship.
The parties reached an agreement on mutual publications in the “Public Administration” periodical of PAARA and scientific periodical of the University of Transylvania.
