The number of private sector organizations among the partners of the Public Administration Academy of RA has increased especially in recent years.
A few weeks ago the foundation of such cooperation was laid, when General Director of “Carrefour Armenia” Vache Arsen was hosted at the Academy and met with the latter’s management and students.
Today, on April 16, the cooperation was formalized, as Rector of PAARA Arsen Lokyan and General Director of “Carrefour Armenia” Vache Arsen signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The Rector of PAARA considered the new cooperation mutually beneficial. It would enable the Academy students, especially those studying Business Administration, HR, and Psychology of Management, to have an internship in a world-renowned company, to familiarize themselves with the great experience the latter has gained so far. The students can link their future career development prospects with this company.
On behalf of the Academy, Mr Lokyan expressed a willingness to support Carrefour Armenia in the continuous provision of young staff, as well as in conducting joint research.
According to the Rector, the demand for such research is increasing day by day in the context of neuromarketing which is gaining momentum worldwide. Such research works will turn into Master’s theses which may be helpful for the Company’s future activity.
General Director of “Carrefour Armenia” Vache Arsen attached great significance to the signing of the memorandum of cooperation with PAARA. He promised to apply Carrefour’s international experience in terms of the Academy students’ internships at the Company.
Head of PAARA’s Chair on Management Vilen Khachatrian substantiated the mutually beneficial nature of this cooperation, highlighting the possibility to combine the knowledge and experience of private and public sectors.
Traditionally, PAARA’ Rector Arsen Lokyan handed a souvenir of the Academy to General Director of “Carrefour Armenia” Vache Arsen.
