On August 30, in the frame of the “Professional Civil Service and TVET in the Eastern Partnership Countries” Project, implemented by GIZ Eastern Partnership Regional Fund for Public Administration, the first online regional round table took place in which PAARA’s representatives participated.
The four-year Project aims to make reforms and bring qualitative changes in the public service systems of the Project partner countries through training courses.
The Project partners are the Eastern Partnership countries: Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, and Ukraine. Mrs Tereza Khechoyan, Vice-Rector for Foreign Relations, Mr Khachatur Bezirjyan, Head of Science Department, Ms Tatevik Movsisyan, Head of International Relations and Foreign Cooperation Department, and Mrs Laura Petrosyan, Head of the Chair of Psychology of Management were in the PAARA team, presenting Armenia.
During the first part of the online meeting, the representatives of the organizations providing training courses in the field of public service in the Project partner countries elaborated on the ongoing reforms, the main challenges, fixed priorities and future plans in terms of public service in their countries.
Mr Khachatur Bezirjyan, Head of the Science Department, presented the public service and relevant training programs in Armenia, reflecting upon PAARA’s vital role in the field, achievements and the implemented programs.
During the second part of the meeting, a workshop was held within which the four groups of the meeting participants reflected upon their vision and opinions on the training courses planned in the frame of the Project.
