Anna Zalinyan’s book presentation on “Peculiarities of Public Administration of the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Armenia” was held at the library of the Public Administration Academy of RA on November 27. After completing her master’s degree at the Public Administration Academy of RA, she also did postgraduate studies, defending her dissertation on “The Peculiarities of State Management of the Economy (with Examples of the Republic of Armenia and the People’s Republic of China)”. By developing the topic and presenting it to the public in the form of a monograph, her kmowledge of the Chinese language and studies in the Chinese language, Culture and Management at Xiamen University in China helped her. As a result, a very up-to-date monograph is on the reader’s desk.
The participants of the book presentation were first welcomed by Arsen Lokyan, Rector of the Public Administration Academy of RA. Noting that this work was the result of Anna’s long years of hard work, the rector assured that this in-depth study, full of statistical data, would be of interest not only to students but also to specialists and teachers in the field.
“The topic is particularly interesting in the context of existing cooperation between the Public Administration Academy of RA and a number of Chinese universities,” said Arsen Lokyan.
In his congratulatory speech Mher Sahakyan, Chairman of the ”China-Eurasia Council for Political and Strategic Research” Foundation, stressed that sinology is just evolving in Armenia and there is a lack of Armenian literature in this area. He added that the work is also important as the author made concrete proposals for the use of the Chinese experience in Armenia.
MP Michael Melkumyan from the ”Prosperous Armenia” party, Doctor of Economics also congratulated Anna. He emphasized the importance of closer relations with China, which this monograph can also contribute to.
MP Arthur Davtyan, who is a member of the Armenia-China Friendship Group of the National Assembly, noted that peacefulness and hard work are one of the common characteristics of the Armenian and Chinese peoples.
“I hope that this work can play an important role in strengthening the Armenian-Chinese friendship and the implementation of joint projects,” he said.
“It is typical for China to pursue a policy of brain drain but in this case we are dealing with brain circulation,” said Vilen Khachatryan, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Head of the Chair of Management at Public Administration Academy of RA.
Professor Ashot Markosyan, Doctor of Economics, also considered this monograph important and expressed the hope that “the internal beneficiaries, those who will read this book, will definitely use it in their work”.
“I attach special importance to the study of the culture of the Chinese governance, which I did during my studies in China from the original Chinese sources,” said Anna Zalinyan after receiving congratulations. She expressed gratitude to all those who supported her on the scientific path.
