On June 18, 2013, the representatives of public inspectorates: of almost all the ministries, the RA Government, National Assembly, agencies under the Government, Civil Service Council, National Security Council, and other bodies, attended the workshop organized at the Public Administration Academy of RA, i.e., of all the structures, where the postgraduates of the Public Administration Academy of RA do their administrative and research internship. The Academy aims to raise the efficiency of internship, hence the representatives of those agencies were invited to discuss the problems emerging during the internship, to hear their viewpoints and suggestions in relation to organizing the internship more effectively.
The workshop was held in an atmosphere of a heated discussion. The representatives of almost all the structures expressed their opinions and approaches, which were written down in order to be considered by the working group that is to be formed in the future.
The participants of the workshop touched the theme of fortifying the employer- university ties and feedback development. According to the Rector of the Public Administration Academy of RA Arsen Lokyan, the Academy cannot be isolated from the employers and prepare human resources without being aware of their needs. Furthermore, the syllabi of a higher educational institution should comply with the employers’ needs. It is an essential prerequisite for the input of the professional education assurance system in the Academy.
