Dialogue on public administration reforms

On June 4-5, a joint regional event of the Eastern Partnership countries was held in Brussels, organized by the “Regional Fund for Public Administration Reforms of the Eastern Partnership” program implemented by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development “SIGMA” (OECD SIGMA). Among the representatives of various departments, the delegation representing Armenia included Kh. Ghazeyan, rector of the Academy of Public Administration of the Republic of Armenia, and V. Khachatryan, the head of the administration chair PAARA.

Members of our delegation held a dialogue with representatives of the governments and parliamentary administrations of Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, as well as consultants from the European Commission, OECD SIGMA and GIZ on the topic of promoting good governance in public administration reforms.

GIZ cooperation between the European Commission, OECD SIGMA and Armenia will continue within the framework of the multi-donor operation “Council for the Advancement of Governance of the Eastern Partnership Countries”, which is jointly financed by the European Union and the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany and is implemented by GIZ as part of the “Eastern Partnership Regional Fund for Public Administration Reforms” project.
