Competitiveness is the Imperative of Time

  

The Student Scientific Society of PAARA in conjunction with the Chair on Political Governance and Public Policy organized a republican conference on “Political and Social Issues of Youth in the Republic of Armenia.

24 candidates applied for participation in the conference launched on November 2.

PAARA Acting Rector Khachatur Ghazeyan made a welcome speech, attaching significance to such initiatives and the relevance of the topic. He especially highly appreciated the active involvement of the participants. 

“Such conferences, their outcomes, exchange of ideas and opinions namely under the coordination and guidance of Prof. Mariam Margaryan deserve deep appreciation,” said Khachatur Ghazeyan, expressing hope that such conferences would be continuous.   

Welcoming the conference participants, Mariam Margaryan, Head of Chair on Political Governance and Public Policy, said that PAARA greatly appreciates the students’ initiatives and willingness to partake in such important academic events, which results from the student-centred policy of the management of PAARA.  

Professor addressed in detail the political socialization of the youth. According to her, from the perspective of axiology, it is vital to reveal who is responsible for the socialization process. “We should mind that the future belongs to the youth, and being competitive is the imperative of the time,” noted M. Margaryan one more time.   

Marine Mkhitaryan, Vice-President of PAARA Student Scientific Society, also welcomed the conference attendees. 

She was entrusted with the task of coordinating the conference. It is noteworthy that the reporters attempted to disclose the conference topic, which made the online conference more intriguing.   

The conference will continue on November 3.
