Susanna Gaboyan, 2nd year Master of “Political Science”, PAARA, took 2nd place at the 78th Armenian Women’s Chess Championship.
The ceremony of awarding the winners of the Armenian Chess Championship of women and men was held at the Sports School of Chess house by Tigran Petrosyan.
Karen Giloyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of RA, awarded the winners and prize-winners of the Women’s Championship.
“Chess is indeed one of the few sports where the title of Armenian champion is a very serious achievement. This is our accomplishment. It is very good that we have such strong chess players,” he said.
The management and staff of the Academy congratulate Susanna Gaboyan and wish new victories in both chess and political science.
